My favorite mascara lately has been the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. This mascara makes me look like I’m wearing false wispy lashes and I absolutely love it.  This top-selling mascara also comes in a waterproof formula!

A Matte foundation is a must!

Dior-  DiorSkin Forever Perfect Foundation andMaybelline–  Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation

When the weather starts to warm up, you need a foundation that can keep up with the warmer temperatures. My go-to foundation for warmer temps is my Dior Forever foundation and lately,  I’ve been mixing it with Maybelline Super Stay foundation and it has the most beautiful finish that lasts all day!

A good setting powder

Laura Mercier- Translucent Loose Setting Powder  and BareMinerals-BareSkin Perfecting Veil

My favorite setting powder of all time is the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder I’ve noticed that when I don’t “bake” my makeup, it slips and slides, so this is a must!

Another powder that I love to use to set my makeup is my Bare Minerals Perfecting Veil I keep this is my purse at all times for quick touch-ups throughout the day.

Face Oils

Tarte Cosmetics – Maracuja Oil   and The Body Shop – Oils of Life

I love face oils and use them mostly at night. A trick to combating wrinkles is to sleep while wearing face oils. At night our skin starts to rejuvenate itself and when your skin is properly moisturized it helps your skin to remain soft and supple and fight signs of aging. Two of my favorite face oils are Tarte’s Maracuja oil and The Body Shop  Oils of Life. I actually own several face oils and it is my favorite part of my nighttime skincare routine.  During my makeup application, I use face oils around my eye and lips.

A pretty pink or Coral Blush

Estee Lauder–  Pure Color Envy Sculpting Blush In Pink Kiss

This blush has been my favorite blush for years, I buy the same shade over and over and it lasts so long. This Estée Lauder pure color blush is the perfect pink for an array of skin tones. It gives me a natural flush of color even when I’m doing “no-makeup makeup” and can still be bold enough for a full glam look.

Neutral Nail Polish

Sally Hansen – Complete Salon Manicure

While this item is not exactly a makeup item it’s great to have on hand for spring. Shades like dusty pinks and nudes go with everything and will never clash with your outfits.

Best Face Mask For All Skin Types

Origins – Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask 

This face mask is one of my favorites! The active ingredient is charcoal, which detoxifies and draws out impurities.  After using this face mask my skin feels super soft and my pores appear smaller, I love it!

Proactiv – Skin Purifying Mask 

When I was in high school, my grandma started purchasing me proactive through infomercials and I would always receive the Skin Purifying Mask as a free gift. It quickly became my favorite part of my skincare regimen and I would use it nighly as a spot treatment and it also has sulfur in it!.  Fast forward several years later and I still purchase the mask, which is now sold separately at many vendors including Proactive.com  and ULTA  (Thanks, Granny!)

Queen Helene- Mint Julep Masque

This face mask is a cult favorite and I first started using it while in high school and have been purchasing it ever since. This minty mask refreshes and revitalizes your skin, its great for drying out pesky pimples and works wonders on all skin types. I love using this mask as a spot treatment, the combination of sulfur and mint is like kryptonite to blemishes.

Bath and Body Works – Face Sheet Mask

I recently purchased this face mask when making a gift bag for one of my friend’s birthdays and I decided to purchase one for myself as well.  I was a little hesitant because I didn’t exactly see Bath and Body Works as a skincare brand for face products, even though I love their body care and its one of my favorite stores.  So I tried It in the Keep It Fruity fragrance and it was such a treat!  If you’re a K beauty Fan and love sheet mask, definitely give this one a try. It has papaya and tea extracts and my skin was so soft and glowed afterward. I like to put mine in the refrigerator to soothe puffy skin.

Lush Cosmetics – Fresh Face Mask in Rosy Cheeks

I love lush products and anything that smell like rose oil. This face mask includes rose clay and calamine, which help soothe irritated skin. Whenever my skin feels tired, I love to indulge in a refrigerated mask, it instantly peps my skin and is perfect for prepping skin for a gorgeous makeup application.

Dr. Brandt Skincare– MAGNETIGHT Age-Defier 

I recently received this mask complementary from Influenster. It was my first time using a magnetic face mask and I loved it! It comes with a magnetic tool that removes the mask and attracts access oils and impurities for glowy, supple, skin.  If you’re looking for an anti-aging facemask, give this one a try. It helps reduce signs of aging which is a great benefit to this unique magnetic face mask.

Concealer

Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer 

This concealer has been my holy grail concealer since it came out two years ago,  I use it every time I do my makeup and it gives the most full coverage and is very long wearing.  I used this  for highlighting and it gives the most glam finish to my undereye area. It is my all time favorite and I hope the formula never changes!

 

Foundations 

Dior Diorskin Forever Foundation 

This Foundation is AAAmazing! I own several foundations and this one has to be the prettiest foundation I have ever worn. It is long-wearing and has a natural matte finish that is great for oily skin types like mine. It has a slight glow, so this can also be worn by those with dry-normal skin as well.  If you are oily like me, you will have to set it, as it does not dry down to a completely matte finish, it does have a bit of luminosity to it and even with the SPF, it photographs beautifully.

Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Foundation 

I love this foundation! The coverage is amazing and I love that it drys down matte. As I have said before, I’m on the shiny side of skin types and this foundation works wonders. It is even more mattifying than Dior Forever and makes my skin look flawless. I have been wearing this almost every day since I purchased it. At first, I was a little hesitant to try it because of the hype, but RIRI girl, you did this right and I am SHOOK honey!

Highlighters 

Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Trophy Wife 

So yes, here’s another Fenty beauty product because it is so good and deserves the praise. This highlighter is not for the faint of heart, it is a blinding highlighter with gold glitter flakes and is everything! Because it is mostly glitter, I love to layer just a tad bit of it on top of another highlighter and even on top of my eyeshadow for a nice shimmering glow.

Marc Jacobs Beauty  Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter 

I love that this highlighter isn’t oily, so if I add it to my foundation it doesn’t make me look like a glazed donut.  If you’re highlighting your cheekbones it looks beautiful when you use your fingertips to apply it.

ELF Cosmetics  Shimmering Highlighting Powder 

These are the best drugstore highlighters and have become my favorite. I have them in five different shades because I’m a highlighter junkie and they are all different.  These highlighters perform like high-end highlighters and never disappoint! Thank GOD for ELF Cosmetics.

Eyeshadow palettes

Morphe 35O- Nature Glow Eyeshadow Palette

My favorite eyeshadow palette of 2017 has to be my Morphe 35O palette. The shades are so beautiful and the pigmentation is out of this world.  This palette is so affordable and the quality blows my mind! I own high-end makeup palettes and this performs just as well. LOVEE it!

 

Lipstick 

NYX Lip Lingerie – Exotic 

I have been really grabbing for my NYX  liquid lipsticks lately, they are long lasting and the shade “exotic” is so flattering on me.  Definitely a 2017 favorite!

MAC Cosmetics Lipstick – Media  

 

So I bought this shade because it was very similar to my all-time favorite shade Diva, from MAC but I liked that Media was more brown, a satin finish and less red than Diva. Its the perfect burgundy and if you like the shade Diva, like I do, then you will definitely appreciate the gorgeousness of Media!
